Primary Missionaries
2008 July 20
Here is an exerpt from Junior Primary’s Sharing Time today.
Girl in CTR 5: “Can girls go on a mission?”
Sister Martin: “Of course girls can go on a mission. Lots of people in our ward have. In fact your teacher has been on a mission.”
Girl in CTR 6: “I’ve been on a mission.”
Sister Martin: “I’m sure you’ll make a great missionary when you get older, but for now you can play missionaries.”
Girl in CTR 6: “No, I really went on a mission. You can ask my mom.”
Hahahaha! That’s funny. Justin and I just got called to teach CTR 5, so I’m really excited about that. I’m also going to be on the Primary’s Faith In God committee working with the girls (of course). Should be fun. I love kids.
You’ll have so much fun. I don’t ever want to go back to Relief Society. I want to stay in Primary forever. Please share stories. I loved the ones you shared about being in the Nursery back in Ohio.
I got so attached to a couple of kids in nursery, I still miss them tons. I was smiling ear-to-ear when we got called to primary. It’s definitely wear I would most like to be in church.
