No matter what I’ll always have it easier than Jennifer Aniston
Yeah know I like my life. Though sometimes reading this blog I’m sure it doesn’t come across that way. Being 29, single and living in Utah there always seems to be one question that I’m constantly asked, “Why aren’t you married?” I guess I’m suppose to have an answer for that question but I don’t. In Utah if you’re over 24 and single there must be something seriously wrong with you. The longer you stay unmarried people to start to worry. And why might ask. A couple of weeks ago I was at a church function. A dear lady in my ward who I adore came up and started asking me how I was doing. We discussed the new ward change, her family, and our jobs. Than as usual I got the, “So any guys?” I just gave a quick one line answer hoping to switch to another subject. But she looked at me and said, “You know what. Don’t even think about it. Don’t worry about it. Just live your life and things will come into place. I don’t know why people seem to think you have to be married to happy.” I agree wholeheartedly. And at least I’m not resorting to this yet.
I will never understand what possesses someone to ask someone else why they’re not married. I mean, seriously?? I worry far more about my friends & family marrying people who are bad for them than not getting married. There’s nothing wrong with being single. But being stuck in a horrible marriage? THAT sounds bad!
And thank you for not auctioning yourself off with a jeep! Haha!
