It never gets old

I have another great primary quote to share. These kids are so adorable. Though at times they can be a little challenging. If you don’t bring a treat you’re in big trouble. If you do bring a treat you better have plenty. They’re favorite is question is, “Can I have some more?”. They don’t like to color. Though they find it fascinating when I draw whatever they ask me to.
A couple of weeks ago I was giving the lesson. I team teach with another girl in the ward and she was helping out in keeping them focused. The lesson was on families. I tried to bring in the fact that Jesus Christ had a family when he was born. I was holding a picture of Jesus in the manger with Joseph and Mary. I pointed to the baby and asked them who is this.  No one said anything. So I said, “Who was born in manger?” The other teacher leaned down to one of the children and whispered isn’t that Jesus. One of the boys looked at her and said, “I don’t know. They’re are a lot of Jesuses”  We couldn’t stop laughing. Lesson learned. Remember to clarify what Jesus your talking about when giving the lesson in primary.

I think I’m losing my hearing for the cute stuff cuz I’m too busy taking care of tantrum-throwing kids and trying to maintain my sanity. We have FOURTEEN 5-year-olds in my class!! FOURTEEN!! It’s insanity. Supposedly they’re calling 2 more full-time teachers to help me. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later. I’m starting to lose it.

OH my gosh! I would have a cow. Your a trooper for staying in there with that many kids. Luckily for us they split the sunbeam class into two and put two teachers to each class. If not we would have nine kids in our class.
